Creative Commons

Creative Commons are:

  • licenses that “give you the ability to dictate how others may exercise your copyright rights—such as the right of others to copy your work, make derivative works or adaptations of your work, to distribute your work and/or make money from your work” (Frequently Asked Questions).

This enables students to have access to other people’s work legally. By using Creative Commons students will be able to use people’s work that is copyrighted without getting into any legal issues since the authors have already given them permission to use their work. This would be a good way for teachers to teach their students the proper way of attaining information so their will be no legal trouble.
