This idea of being able to use other people’s work in order to teach is good. This is because teachers do not have to worry about the legal issues of sharing something interesting with their class. For example, if a teacher wanted the class to make a parody of a poem they read in class, she would be able to because of this law. Since she would not be worried about copyright issues it would open up her ideas for lesson plans.
