Resource Equity

There needs to be fairness when it comes to the resources available in schools. For example, students with vision impairments may need to “use screen access software, which translates information on the screen into synthesized speech or Braille” (Bitter and Legacy, 245). If these special resources are not made available then students with special needs will not be able to experience technology like everyone else and will not learn as well.

The following video explains the need for different technologies that allow people with all types of needs to be able to learn.
